How To Reach Minicoy Island By Air
By air This is the fastest way to get to Minicoy Island, but also the most expensive. there are no direct flights from Kochi to Minicoy Island.
You will need to first fly from Kochi to Agatti Island, which is the only island in Lakshadweep with an airstrip. From Agatti you can take a helicopter or a boat to Minicoy Island. The flight from Kochi to Agatti takes about 1.5 hrs & the helicopter ride from Agatti to Minicoy takes about 20 min. The boat journey takes several hours.
