The VSSC Space Museum welcomes the public from 09:30 hrs to 16:00 hrs on all days, except Saturdays, Sundays, and declared public holidays (which can be found on the online calendar).

Application and Entry for Indian Nationals:

- The application process is a breeze; interested individuals can apply online up to three months in advance.
- Remember, online requests are processed only on working days.
Application Process for Different Categories:
- For a smooth application process, follow these guidelines based on your category: Individual Visitors: Provide essential details such as name, age, occupation, address, and mobile number.
- Upload a government-issued ID card (Voter’s ID, Aadhaar card, driving license, or passport).
Group Visitors Educational Institutions :
Team leader must furnish their details, including name, number and other deatils
- Upload the team leader’s government-issued ID card.
- Include the list of visitors with names, ages, sexes, and designations along with a consent letter signed by the Head of the institution (on the letterhead) in the prescribed format.
- Individual ID cards need not be uploaded.
Leadership Responsibility:
- For both individual and group visitors, the team leader holds significant responsibility.
- They should be present at VSSC on the day of the visit and ensure the integrity and disciplined behavior of the group.
Acknowledgment and Approval:
- Once the online request is submitted, a unique ID will be provideding for track status of your application.
- VSSC will then process the request for approval, and upon acceptance, you will receive an intimation through email and SMS.
Collecting Entry Pass:
- To obtain the printed entry pass, visit either the Public Relations Office, VSSC (located near Veli Church), or the security gate at Canal gate, near Station Kadavu, at the northern boundary of the VSSC campus.
- The group leader must provide the assigned request ID and registered proof of identity for verification and issuance of the pass.
- Remember, the pass is valid only for the date of issue.
COVID Appropriate Behavior:
- Safety is of utmost importance during your visit.
- Adhere strictly to the following COVID appropriate behavior: Maintain a physical distance of 2 meters.
- Always wear a face mask and carry a personal sanitizer (50 ml).
- Wash your hands frequently and thoroughly before and after the visit.
- Refrain from touching the exhibits under any circumstance.
- In case of COVID symptoms such as fever or a running nose, kindly postpone your visit.
- Spitting in open areas is strictly prohibited.
Security Measures and Guidelines:
- Rigorous security checks, including body frisking and ID verification, will be conducted.
- Vehicle Entry: On regular days, visitors’ vehicles with entry passes are allowed inside the security gate.
- However, on launch days, vehicle entry to the campus will not be permitted.
- Don’t worry; VSSC will provide transportation facilities to the control center launch view station and Space Museum.
- Forbidden Items and Photography: Inside the museum, certain restrictions apply to ensure the safety and sanctity of the exhibits.
- Explosives, inflammable materials, photography, mobile phones, and other electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited within the museum premises.
