The Costa Victoria, originally owned and operated by Costa Crociere from 1996 to 2020, underwent ownership changes to Genova Trasporti Marittimi in 2020 and then to Piombino Industrie Marittime in 2020-2021. It was registered in Italy, initially in Venice, then Monrovia, and finally Genoa. Built by Bremer Vulkan in Bremen, Germany, with the yard number 107, it was launched on 2 September 1995 and completed in 1996. The ship’s maiden voyage took place on 28 July 1996, and it remained in service until 23 June 2020. It was eventually scrapped in Aliağa, Turkey, in 2021.
